2. Have well thought out questions, and have the questions well rehearsed.
3. Set up an interview, when setting up the interview, I want to make sure that I am accomodating the interviewee's needs: work around the interviewee's schedule, make sure to have a comfortable place to interview (something warm and inviting).
4. During my interview, making sure I am well prepared, I look professional, I am calm, make sure that I am paying attention, I have eye contact, and I want to be opened minded about the interviewees answers and to what they have for me to learn.
5. After the interview, I am going to make sure that I thank my interviewee for taking time out of their day to let me learn and hear about their culture.
6. Once I have gathered all the information from my interview, I am going to prepare a paper.
7. I will transcribe at least one of interviews on paper.
8. Finally I will hand in my paper for a grade.
You will conduct three interviews, transcribe and report on two of them. Your Nr. 7 is not right. Please look at Nathan's objectives for a clear list, Maria's for thoughtful language, and Mohammed's and Maddy's for post-production. Vishal's blog also warrants reading.
